Cheap solar panel and battery quotes often means that shortcuts have been taken! For example, cable runs being placed just below a tiled roof, and sitting on top of your sarking. This is not good practice and a potential fire safety risk, not to mention a violation of AS/NZS3000 (our electrical standards).
